General Guild Information

Raid Times
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 7:30PM - 11:00PM (CST)
You need to make all three days on a regular basis to be considered. We understand things come up and you will not be punished for missing raids from time to time, we just ask you notify us first when possible. If you have something for example that will cause you to miss every Tuesday raid, don't bother applying. We start invites around 7:15, so we ask for you to be on your main account and ready to raid at that time.

DKP
In Dark Covenant, we use a DKP system to distribute loot. There is open bidding with everyone interested in the item. You can raise the bid in increments of 5, 5 is also the minimum bid for any item.

You gain DKP a few different ways. The main way to gain DKP is through the zero-sum system we have in place. Anytime anyone uses DKP, that DKP is distributed among the raid. For example, if someone spends 250 DKP on an item, everyone would get 10 DKP. We also give out DKP for time spent raiding and boss kills. The DKP you earn each night is not active until the DKP site is updated, meaning you cannot use DKP you earned on night 1 until night 2.

Trial Raiders
If you are accepted into the guild, the first week you will be in trial status. During this first week, you earn DKP by the above methods, but you cannot bid up any main raiders. You are limited to a 5 DKP bid (the minimum) and if any raider wants the item, your 5 bid will not be valid.

After the week our officers will decide if you are what we want in our raid. While uncommon, we sometimes continue the trial period for another week, in which you will still earn DKP, but not be able to bid up main raiders. If you are deemed worthy and accepted into the guild, you will receive a raider rank and be able to spend your DKP freely.

Vent Chatter/General Chat
We at Dark Covenant have a very relaxed raid environment. We will often joke around in vent or general chat during trash and bosses that are on farm. All we ask of you is to be considerate and listen to the raid leaders when they are speaking. During progression we ask you do not talk on vent during the boss fights. If a raid leader/officer tells you to shut up in vent or stop talking in general, you will be required to comply. If you do not, we have been known to dock DKP or replace your raid spot with a backup.

As far as logs, I am present in all the raids here.



6) Raiding and Guild Experience
I have done all WotLK content currently in the game. I have killed all bosses in ICC25 except Blood Queen. I am currently an officer of Dark Covenant.

I have also done all hard modes in Ulduar and ToGC, including Algalon in 10man.

8) Personal and other Info
I am currently going to college full time while running a WoW Guild on the side. I play lots of games besides WoW, including RTS and FPS games. Notable games include Company of Heroes, Starcraft, League of Legends, Counter Stike, and others. I am also an avid fan of RPGs, such as Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Orgins, and more.
